01
What determines whether a dent can be repaired?
Depth alone does not tell the whole story. A crease across a panel edge, stretched metal or damage near a mounting point can change the repair approach. Access behind the panel and the condition of existing paint also matter.
- Take one photo straight on and another at an angle.
- Include the panel edges and any gaps around doors or adjoining panels.
- Tell us about previous repairs, filler or damaged paint if you know about them.
02
Dent removal and paint refinishing are separate questions.
Even when a panel can be reshaped, the finish may need preparation, colour matching and repainting. Paintless dent repair is not suitable for every dent and should not be assumed from a photo. The proposed method should be explained before booking.
03
When a replacement is the more sensible option.
Extensive stretching, torn metal or damage that cannot be restored appropriately may call for a replacement. Suitable reclaimed OEM panels are considered on condition, fit and safety, not simply on their purchase price.
